[Semi-Historial] Selangor

Short Sunderland Mk.I Royal Air Force (RAF) L2160

The first Sunderlands to deployed in Far East were L2159 (22 June 1938) and L2160 (4 July 1938) to 230 Sqn in RAF Seletar, Singapore; to replace Short Singapores (sound confusing? :D)

L2160 and its three sisters (L2161, L2164 and L2166) were purchased for the RAF by the Federated Malay Sultanates. To show their 'local' connection, they are named Selangor, Negri-Sembilan, Pahang and Perak; and their names were written in Jawi near the nose.

PS The wing lower roundels are partially covered is intentional because in early Mk.I, there isn't any radar pod beneath the wings.
